I’ve been in the mountains and I’ve seen them: leaves turning shades of red, orange and yellow. Some people get mad when I say it, but autumn has definitely stretched out her ruby-slippered toe and begun her ritual tango. It’s time to dance!

The first event to kick off the fall is the Adirondack Harvest Festival this Saturday the 19th! Come on out with friends and enjoy an afternoon of workshops, kids activities, live music, great food and so much more! This festival is one of our area’s signature events and gets better every year. Sign up to volunteer and help make it happen! Don’t forget to visit all the Wadhams and Westport businesses and organizations: the WWCA, the Flowers Plus! Committee, Creative Kitchen Garden, Wollecru Farm, Barred Owl Brook Farm, Wadhams Free Library, the Essex Food Hub , Rick Sherman’s Wood Crafts, and more.

-Triple Green Jade Farm will be at Ballard Park for a pop-up market on Wednesday, September 23, 9am-12pm. Time to stock up on sourdough baked goods and delicious farm products!

JOIN THE WESTPORT NY FORWARD COMMUNITY INFO SESSION SEPT 22!

The Town of Westport is exploring an application to the next round of New York State’s NY Forward program, which provides funding to support downtown revitalization and community development projects.

Residents, business owners, property owners, and other community members are invited to attend a community information session on Tuesday, September 22 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Westport Town Hall.
