Westport’s Town-Wide Yard Sale on August 8 was a huge hit this year, with almost 30 happy participants and large numbers of treasure hunters! Big thanks to all community members who made the effort to get organized and take part, and to the WWCA volunteers and staff! Marisa Miller, seen here, deserves a trophy for all of her stellar administrative work, and for spending many hours on a sweaty Sunday thoughtfully collecting items people left at the dumpster for others to go through, and then organizing (heavy stuff!) and heaving it all into the dumpster provided by Pribble Excavating. Thanks also to Keith Hoffnagle for offering his space for the dumpster!
